What is this event about?
This event is all about customer retention strategies for startups, an area that is too often being neglected by founders, even though studies have shown that for example for e-commerce companies, 80% of future profits come from only 20% of existing customers! Similar statistics are readily available for other industries, which is why many growth hackers consider customer retention to be the most important stage of the “Growth Hacking Funnel”.
During the event, we will be focusing on tactics and tools to achieve high customer retention rates and sustainable long-term growth. The ultimate goal of customer retention is to get your customers to use your product in such a way that it becomes habitual, an art only few startups manage to master.

What is Growth Hacking?
Growth hacking can be defined as an unconventional, low cost and data-driven approach to marketing, user acquisition and sales funnels and has been the key to success for some of the world’s most successful startups (AirBnB, Dropbox, Spotify, etc.). We want to spread the word about growth hacking in Singapore and across South East Asia and get together each month to learn from leading growth hackers, discuss growth hacking best practices, tactics, ideas and help each other in growing our startups.
Who will be speaking?
We have invited Andy Yeo, Enterprise Solutions Consultant, APAC at Hootsuite Media Inc., who will be sharing his extensive experience in creating unconventional customer retention strategies in the regional markets across Asia. Prior to Hootsuite, he has worked for LinkedIn.He guides his customers through their social journey by helping them with their problems individually. He is an expert in customer retention and building long-term business relationships with his clients across Asia Pacific, keen to share his experience and skills with the startup community in Singapore!
Andy’s talk will be followed by a hands-on workshop where participants will form teams and develop customer retention growth hacks for their own startups/startup ideas, with the help of our experienced growth hackers.
